Feed: compliance testing with regard to the action thresholds and maximum levels for dioxins, dioxin-like PCBs and non-dioxin-like PCBs according to Directive 2002/32/EC and Regulation (EU) No 277/2012. Others: investigations within monitoring programs;

For the analysis, a sample equivalent is required which contains at least 10 g of fat. This means: With a fat content of 20%, 50 g original sample material is required. With a fat content of 2%, 500 g minimum are needed. IMPORTANT: Regardless of the analytical amount of sample, the sample amount has to be representative in accordance to the regulation (See also Regulation (EU) No. 589/2014 and No. 709/2014). For example, creating a homogenate from a representative sample quantity and deliver at least a sample which contains 10 grams of fat to the laboratory. In general, for analysis of food, normally the eat capable part is used (e.g. fish with or without skin).
