Dioxins in milk/milkproducts and egg/eggproducts (feed)

analysis: Dioxins

Feed: compliance testing with regard to the action thresholds and maximum levels for dioxins, dioxin-like PCBs and non-dioxin-like PCBs according to Directive 2002/32/EC and Regulation (EU) No 277/2012. Others: investigations within monitoring program;

Amount of sample: For the analysis of a sample it is required an equivalent which contains at least 10 g of fat. With a fat content of 20% e.g. 50 g original sample material required. In a skim milk with 1.5% fat at least 1 L of milk is needed.

vessels: Glass bottles, aluminium containers, original packaging, PE bags or PE containers for dry materials;

Transport: the case of perishable samples express delivery and sufficient cooling is recommended.

IMPORTANT: Regardless of the analytical amount of sample, the sample amount has to be representative in accordance to the regulation (See also Regulation (EU) No. 589/2014 and No. 709/2014) e.g. Chicken eggs: per stable there are to crack about 20-30 eggs and homogenize them, from this homogeneous material must be send about 200g must to the laboratory; alternatively: the representative number of eggs could be sent directly to the laboratory
