microscopic detection of "Steinbrand" spores in grain

"Steinbrand" is a fungus disease, which mainly occurs in wheat, spelled, rye and triticale. It makes itself felt by a fishy odor. The infestation with stone fire leads to a reduced harvest. Especially the spurs of the Steinbrand are extremely durable. They can survive in the soil for up to 10 years.

To avoid infestation, be sure to keep "Steinbrand", clean seed and seed drills. With this analysis the grain is microscopically examined for the spores.
